Paintings by Everblades Players to be Auctioned off Friday

WHO: 14 members of The Florida Everblades hockey team, including Team Captain Matt Marquardt and scoring standouts Brendan O’Donnell, Kevin Lynch and Matt Willows, along with Head Coach Greg Poss and Assistant Coach Tad O’Had

WHERE: Germain Arena Concourse, 11000 Everblades Pkwy. Estero, FL

WHEN:  Beginning at 6:30 p.m. this Friday, April 8 and continuing during the Florida Everblades home game versus the Orlando Solar Bears.

WHAT:Florida Everblades player and coach autographed self-portrait paintings will be up for auction.  The paintings were created in March during a private session at Pinot's Palette located at Coconut Point Mall in Estero.

WHY: The art auction willsupport “For the Kids Foundation” a local 501c3 organization and signature charity of the team.  For the Kids Foundation provides joyful elements and fun adventures and experiences for patients facing a long-term stay at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida (primarily within the pediatric oncology and hematology areas).

Friday, April 8 vs. Orlando, 7:30 p.m.Fan Appreciation Weekend begins!  Everyone will receive a FREE Everblades team photo courtesy of FGCU & Direct Impressions....The first 200 fans will receive a FREE ticket to Naples Zoo! There will be prizes and giveaways all night long! Following the game there will be an auction of hockey portraits painted by Evebrlades players which will benefit the For the Kids Foundation.  Saturday, April 9 vs. Orlando, 7:00 p.m.Fan Appreciation Weekend continues! The first 5,000 fans will receive a FREE rally card!  Fans will receive a Wawa food voucher as they exit the arena...The Everblades team awards ceremony will take place prior to the game  More prizes and giveaways handed out to fans throughout the night!  The white jerseys the team wore this season will be auctioned off following the game.
