Wednesday, November 18: Florida – 5 vs. Wheeling  6 John McCarron scored two goals and lifted the Nailers over the Everblades 6-5. The Everblades fought back down 6-2 to cut the lead to one late in the third period before falling just short. The ‘Blades had multiple chances to tie the game up, even pulling Peters out of net to gain a man advantage, but couldn’t net the equalizer.

Friday, November 20: Florida – 3 vs. Wheeling  5 Zack Torquato scored twice while goaltender Brian Foster made 48 saves to propel the Nailers to a 5-3 victory over the Everblades. The Blades dominated in shots on goal by a 51-24 count, but the Nailers’ shot efficiency was the difference in the game.

Saturday, November 21: Florida – 5 vs. Wheeling – 2 The Everblades scored five unanswered goals to blow past the Nailers 5-2. The Nailers scored the opening two goals of the game, but the Everblades took over from there.  Anthony Peters was back in net for the third consecutive game and stopped 23 out of 25 shots from the Nailers.

The Everblades open up a six-game western road swing on Wednesday at Colorado. Florida will battle the Eagles again on Friday and Saturday, before traveling to Boise, Idaho for a three-game set with the Steelheads next week.

Saturday, November 12 vs. Reading Royals7:00 p.m. The Annual IBERIABANK Teddy Bear Toss Game! Don't miss the biggest game of the year!  Bring a new teddy bear or stuffed animal to the game. When the Everblades score their first goal, you can throw the teddy bears onto the ice to celebrate! We will round up all of the teddy bears and stuffed animals  and distribute them to local children's charities for the holidays.   Beginning at 5:00 p.m. we will have the tailgate party featuring live music along with bounce houses and face painting for the kids!
