Last Time Out: The Everblades grabbed a 2-0 lead after the first period, but Greenville’s Josh Nicholls scored twice in the second period, while Emerson Clark netted the eventual game-wining goal with less than four minutes remaining in regulation to lift the Greenville Swamp Rabbits to a 3-2 victory over the ‘Blades on Sunday afternoon….After falling behind 2-0 through 40 minutes of play, the Stingrays mounted a comeback bid in the third, but fell short to the Atlanta Gladiators by a 5-3 count at home on Sunday.
About the Everblades: Matt Marquardt leads the Everblades offensively with nine points (3g, 6a). Both Marquardt and rookie forward Brendan O’Donnell had their five-game point and assists streaks snapped in Sunday’s loss at Greenville. O’Donnell (1g, 7a) was placed on the 21-Day injured reserve list on Tuesday, after sustaining an injury against Greenville. Rookie forward Jeff Jones will make his professional debut this evening in O’Donnell’s absence….Florida’s power play is currently ranked second in the league, and the ‘Blades have recorded a goal with the man advantage in each of their six games played this season…Ethan Werek currently leads the ECHL with 33 shots, while defenseman Mike Cornell leads the league in penalty minutes with 35…Daniel Altshuller (3-0-0-0) is expected to start in goal tonight for Florida.

About the Stingrays: The reigning Eastern Conference Champions return to Germain Arena after a slow start to the 2015-16 season. However, Joe Devin, Andrew Johnston and Stephen Vigier have had productive starts to the season posting four points each…South Carolina has also proven to be a third-period team, scoring five of its ten goals scored in the final stanza of regulation…Goaltender Vitek Vanecek played well for the Washington Capitals in the recent Tampa Bay Lightning Prospect Tournament which took place at Germain Arena in September…The Stingrays also received the services of forward Derek DeBlois who was assigned to the team today from Lake Erie of the American Hockey League. DeBlois played a big part in South Carolina’s deep playoff run last spring, finishing third on the team in postseason scoring with 27 points.
