ESTERO, FL -- The Florida Everblades are pleased to announce that 770 AM (WJBX-AM) will be the radio home for Florida Everblades Hockey for the 2015-16 season. In addition, ECHL.TV will provide a free online audio stream of all Everblades game broadcasts.
“We are extremely excited to once again partner with Beasley Broadcasting for our radio broadcasts,” said Everblades Vice President of Sales & Marketing Chris Palin. “It is important for our fans to have the opportunity to follow the team throughout the season, so we are pleased to be able to provide a quality radio station and online option for them for the upcoming season.”
770 AM (WJBX-AM) is owned and operated by the Beasley Broadcasting Group Inc. of Southwest Florida. The station is based in Estero, Florida. .
ECHL.TV will provide a free online audio stream for fans on game days. ECHL.TV also provides fans the opportunity to watch all games online on a subscription basis. However, fans will not need a subscription to listen to the games online.
Alex Reed will return for his fourth full season as the play-by-play announcer for the Everblades. Longtime Everblades great Ernie Hartlieb will join Reed in the radio booth, providing color analysis for select home game broadcasts.
---Opening Weekend Presented by The Passion Foundation Set for Oct. 16 & 17!The Everblades open the 2015-16 season at Germain Arena on Friday, October 16 at 7:30 p.m. against the Atlanta Gladiators! The first 5,000 fans to walk though the games will receive a free Everblades magnet schedule courtesy of Jack's Cleaning Services! The two teams will also meet on Saturday, October 17, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The opening weekend games will be part of a “Black Out” promotion and the Everblades will be wearing special black jerseys which will be auctioned off following the October 17 game. The proceeds of the auction will benefit The Passion Foundation.
