About Last Night’s Game 1:  Marcus Perrier scored twice to help pace the Stingrays to a 6-3 victory over the Everblades at Germain Arena.  Everblades forward Mitch Wahl finished the game with a goal and two assists in the loss.  Goaltender Jeff Jakaitis earned his fifth win of the postseason for South Carolina.  Florida netminder Brad Barone made his pro debut in the third period in a relief effort.Shots:  FLA – 24   SC – 21

About the Everblades: Forward Nicolas Deschamps remains tied for the league lead in scoring in the playoffs with ten points (3g, 7a). Daniel Altshuller will make his third consecutive start in goal for Florida tonight.  The Everblades are second in the playoffs with a 24.57 shots-against per game average.

About the Stingrays:  Joe Devin scored this playoff leading 7th goal in last night’s win.  Devin has recorded at least on goal in each of the last four games.  Wayne Simpson leads the Stingrays in scoring with 10 points.  Jeff Jakaitis is once again expected to start in goal for the Rays this evening.
