About Last Night’s Game: Garret Sparks stopped all 33 shots faced to lead the Solar Bears to a 1-0 victory over the Everblades last night at the Amway Center.  Max Nicastro’s goal in the first period would be all Orlando needed on the night.   Despite the loss, goaltender Allen York was sharp in his return to the ‘Blades stopping 29 of 30 shots faced.  With the win, Orlando clinched a playoff spot and will face the Everblades in the first round of the 2015 Kelly Cup Playoffs.   Shots:   FLA – 33  ORL – 30

About the Everblades: Three Everblades players were selected to the ALL-ECHL team yesterday.  Defenseman Mike Little was named to the ALL-ECHL First team, while defenseman Cameron Burt and forward Adam Brace were selected to the ALL-ECHL Second team.  All three players have set career highs in points, goals, and assists this season.  Alex Nedeljkovic will start in goal tonight for the Everblades.

About the Solar Bears: Goaltender Garret Sparks recorded his fifth shutout of the season in last night’s win over Florida.  Sparks is currently ranked fourth in the league with a 2.34 goals against average. Jacob Cepis leads the Orlando Solar Bears in scoring with 56 points.  Cepis has totaled 17 points (6g, 11a) in 13 games played against the Everblades.   The Solar Bears lead the league with a 33.26 shots per game average
