About Tonight’s Game: The Everblades (80 pts.) have won four straight games, and are tied for the division lead with the Reading Royals (80 pts.).  Both the ‘Blades and the Royals are trying to hold off the surging South Carolina Stingrays (75 pts.) who have won 16 straight contests.  The Road Warriors have lost their last three games, which includes back-to-back setbacks to the Everblades in Greenville last Friday and Saturday.  Heading into tonight, Greenville is currently in fourth, and are three points up on fifth place Elmira for the final playoff spot within the division.

Last Time Out:  Matt Marquardt and Brant Harris each scored twice as the Everblades closed out their weekend road trip with a 7-2 victory over the Gwinnett Gladiators on Sunday.  Florida scored four goals in a span of 3:15 in the second period to take control of the contest, and secure all six possible points on the three-game road trip…Greenville is coming off a 3-1 home loss to the red-hot South Carolina Stingrays on Sunday.

About the Everblades:  Adam Brace continues to put up big numbers for the Everblades this season. Brace leads the team in points (54) and goals (24).  Mike Little was a runner-up for ECHL Player of the Week after posting seven points (2g, 5a) in four games played last week.  Little leads all league defenseman in points with 43.  Goaltender Anthony Peters is expected to make his home debut with the Everblades tonight.  Peters recorded a 32-save shutout in Greenville in his pro debut last Friday.   Peters is the brother of former Everblade Justin Peters.

About the Road Warriors:  The Road Warriors have been active this week as Thursday’s ECHL trade deadline approaches.  Greenville acquired high-flying forward Anthony Luciani from the Toledo Walleye.  Luciani has posted a career best 58 points (21g, 27a) this season.   Vinny Saponari also has recorded 58 points this season, and has logged 41 assists which is good for fifth best in the league.   Greenville also acquired Thomas Frazee, a 6-3 center from the Evansville IceMen.  Frazee has posted a balanced 31 points (15g, 16a) this season.
