About Tonight’s Game: Tonight’s matchup features a battle of two of the top three teams in the East Division, as the Florida Everblades (27-7-1-3, 58 pts) tangle with the Greenville Road Warriors (25-14-1-2, 55 pts).  Florida currently holds the top spot in the division, but has just a four point lead over second place Reading (54 pts), and a five-point lead over third place Greenville. Four point swings will be in play this weekend as the divisional race is heating up at the halfway point of the season.About the Everblades:  Adam Brace extended his point streak to six games on Wednesday, and has recorded 9 points (4g, 5a) during this recent streak which began back on Jan 16.  Brace continues to lead the team in points (36) and goals (17).  Defenseman Mike Little heads into tonight having scored in back-to-back games. The Everblades bolstered their blue line yesterday by acquiring defenseman Gleason Fournier from the Orlando Solar Bears in exchange for forward John McInnis.  Fournier has 14 points (4g, 10a) in 26 games played this season, and brings a wealth of AHL experience with him.  Goaltender Allen York is expected to start in goal tonight for the Everblades.   Evan Bloodoff has a team best four goals scored against Greenville this season.

About the Road Warriors:  Greenville’s roster features two 30+ point scorers in Vinny Saponari (34) and Trevor Parkes (32).  Parkes leads the team in goals scored with 14.   Goaltender Jeff Malcolm is third in the ECHL with a .914 save percentage.  Kyle Jean and Josh Nicholls have combined for 11 points against Florida this season.
