About Tonight's Game: The Everblades will be in search of their fifth consecutive victory tonight, as they continue to maintain the top spot in the East Division. Florida is led offensively by Adam Brace and Matt Mangene who each have posted 12 points on the year. Florida continues to receive consistent production form defenseman Mike Little who is currently riding a seven-game point scoring streak. Little has posted nine points (2g, 7a) during this current streak which began back on November 1. After making 26 saves in last night’s game to help lead the ‘Blades to a 6-4 win, Allen York has now won his last seven starts. York will once again get the start in net for the Everblades tonight.
The Everblades have allowed just eight power play goals against all season. However, six of those eight goals have been scored by the Gladiators who continue to find success on the power play against the ‘Blades. Gwinnett’s power play ranks first in the league on the road converting at 31.3%. Marshall Everson leads Gwinnett in scoring against Florida with six points (4g, 2a). Another player who has a knack for scoring goals against the Everblades is forward Brendan Walker. Three of Walker’s four goals have come against Florida. Garry Nunn leads the Gladiators in scoring with 13 points (1g, 12a).
