Estero, FL – The Florida Everblades announced Monday that rookie winger Kyle Bonis has been reassigned to the club by the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League.
Bonis, 24, is tied for the ECHL lead for goals among rookies with 13 tallies in 30 games played for the Blades.
A native of Lindsay, Ontario, Bonis appeared in both games over the weekend for the Checkers but did not register a point. The Ferris State alum will be available to the Everblades when they host the Orlando Solar Bears for a 7:30pm contest Friday night at Germain Arena.
Tickets are on sale right now at the Capital Bank Box Office, open Monday-Friday, 10:00am until 6:00pm.
Friday’s intrastate throwdown will be broadcast live online at FloridaEverblades.com and on the Everblades’ app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, with a video webcast available through America ONE, the official broadband and mobile broadcaster of the ECHL, at www.americaonesports.com. Pregame coverage will get under way at 7:15pm.
