Estero, FL – The Florida Everblades will continue a three-game homestand Friday at 7:30pm when they host the Elmira Jackals as part of their Military Appreciation Weekend at Germain Arena.

It will be a rematch of Wednesday’s contest that saw the Blades race out to a 4-0 lead through two periods before holding off the Jackals for a 5-2 victory.

Matthew Pistilli set a season-high for the Everblades with four points (1g, 3a) in the contest while team captain and 2012-13 ECHL-leading scorer Mathieu Roy returned to the lineup, contributing two assists in his season debut.

Elmira arrives fresh off a 4-1 loss against the Orlando Solar Bears on Thursday at Amway Center. Jackals forward Artem Demkov scored Elmira’s lone goal in the game, extending his goal streak to a league-high four games.

Friday’s tilt is the last time the two sides, who have met in the last two years’ playoffs, will meet at Germain Arena this season. Their lone meeting at First Arena in Elmira will be on December 11.

Florida will wear special edition blue Military Appreciation jerseys both Friday and Saturday, with the jerseys being auctioned off following Saturday’s game against the Toledo Walleye, with proceeds going to the National Coalition for Patriots and the military causes they support.

Tickets are now on sale at the Capital Bank Box Office at Germain Arena, Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Wednesday’s interdivision tilt will be broadcast locally on FOX Sports Radio 1350 AM and worldwide online on America ONE, the official internet television provider for the ECHL, at www.americaonesports.com. Pregame coverage will get under way at 7:15pm.
