2013-14 Regular Season Schedule Announced

ESTERO, FL – The Florida Everblades announced Wednesday the team’s game schedule for the 2013-14 season. The Everblades will play a 72-game schedule which is comprised of 36 home and 36 road dates.  The Everblades will open the season at home on Friday, October 18 against the Orlando Solar Bears.

The schedule features a four-game road trip out west to California and Nevada during the second week of the season.  The ‘Blades will battle the Ontario Reign for a pair of games on Oct. 25 & 27. The two-game set will mark the first ever meeting between the two clubs.   Florida will also take on the Bakersfield Condors on October 26, while concluding the western swing on October 29 against the Las Vegas Wranglers in a rematch of the 2012 Kelly Cup Finals.

Everblades fans will have the opportunity to see two teams who will make their first ever trip to Southwest Florida. The Colorado Eagles invade Germain Arena on December 6 & 7, while the Fort Wayne Komets come to town for a three-game slate on February 19, 21, & 22.

Forty-four (44) of the 72 regular season games will be played against South Division opponents.  Florida will play 13 of its home games on Friday, 13 on Saturday, 10 on Wednesday, and one on Tuesday.  The Everblades conclude the regular season with a nine-game homestand spanning from March 26 through April 12.All Weekday and Friday home games begin at 7:30 pm, while all Saturday home dates begin at 7:00 p.m. Saturday home dates begin at 7:00 p.m.
