ESTERO, FL – Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced Sunday that the team has acquired defenseman Dean Moore from the Toledo Walleye in exchange for future considerations.
Moore has gone scoreless in three games with the Walleye this season. The 6-0, 200-pound blue liner totaled 12 points (2g, 10a) during the 2010-11 season in the Southern Professional Hockey League split between the Fayetteville FireAntz and the Louisiana IceGators. Moore posted seven points with the IceGators during the 2009-10 season.
The Bradenton, Florida native also went scoreless in three games with the South Carolina Stingrays (ECHL) in 2009-10. Moore totaled 42 career points in the Eastern Junior Hockey League from 2006-2010.
The Everblades open up a three games in three days slate on Friday November 18 at Gwinnett. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
