Everblades Call Press Conference for Next Tuesday

ESTERO, FL –The Florida Everblades, primary affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League and Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League, announced today that the club will be holding a press conference next Tuesday, July 8 at 3:30 p.m. in the Old Florida Room at Germain Arena. The Press Conference is being held to announce major player signings for the 2009-10 season. Media and fans are invited to attend the event.

Florida Extends Qualifying Offers to Eight Players

ESTERO, FL –The Florida Everblades, primary affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League and Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League, announced today that the team has extended qualifying offers to eight players for the 2009-10 season. The Blades presented contract offers to the following players:  Milan Gijac (RW), Ryan Lang (LW), Steve McJannet (LW), Patrick Bordeleau (LW), Alex Parent (C), Brad Herauf (LW), Dominic D’Amour (D), and Michael Grenzy (D).

OHL Standout Beljo Signs With Everblades

ESTERO, FL –Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush along with head coach Malcolm Cameron announced today that high-flying forward Jadran Beljo (YAH dren BELL joe) has agreed to terms on a contract with the Florida Everblades for next season. Beljo becomes the third player signed by Florida for the 2009-10 season.
