Defenseman Logan Roe Returns for a Third Season

August 1, 2017

ESTERO, FL –  Florida Everblades President & General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced Tuesday that defenseman and Fort Myers native Logan Roe has agreed to terms with the team for the 2017-18 season.

Roe, 25, returns for his third season with the Everblades after posting a career best 18 points (3g, 15a) in 67 games played last season.  Roe registered 16 points (2g, 14a) with a plus-23 rating in 58 appearances during his rookie campaign with the Everblades in the 2015-16 season.  During that same season, Roe went scoreless in three appearances with the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.

“Logan Roe is coming back to us as a third-year pro,” said Ralph. “Logan plays an intelligent game, he’s mobile and makes a great first pass. His familiarity with our systems, staff, and along with our expectations, will allow him and our team the ability to get off to a great start.  We are excited to see Logan take the next step in his development.”

Prior to joining the Everblades, the 6-4, 206-pound blueliner recorded 25 points (1g, 24a) during his four-year collegiate career at Canisius College (2011-15). Roe is a product of the Junior Everblades Association’s youth hockey program.

Roe becomes the sixth addition to the team’s roster for the 2017-18 season.  To view the current roster CLICK HERE
